And I love the older uncle that just "gets it". "=) I had similar experiences...it's something about our generation that's more skeptical and "exchange oriented" (esp. in India). For the elders, kindness is sort of just built-in, neighbors had to rely on neighbors in their times...the interdependence is more recognized/accepted. Anyways, hope you're well.
